Finally a reivew of a bbq place I’ve visited!! I’ve wanted to do some reviews of various places, but never got around to it. With the renewed interest in this blog and wanting to actually post, I hope to write up some of my takes on places I’ve visited, food that I’ve cooked, gear that I’ve tried out and everything else in between.

Keep in mind however that my posts are based on my observations and are certainly not the end all, be all. I know what I like and dislike. My palate is pretty open.  Final judgement should be yours and yours alone. As always, your mileage may vary.

Best picture set of last weekend.

One of the many sites that I follow on a 2-3 day basis, is Men in Aprons.  It’s entertaining, informative and has recipes that simply make my mouth water.  Like this one.

I can’t wait till the weather gets consistently better and I can grill every evening & fire up the smoker on the weekends.  At that point, I’ll clear the cobwebs off the server and update this site more often.

Especially if it’s hickory or mesquite.  This blog was created in orer to document my journey into the wonderful world of barbecuing.  Slow and low is the motto around here and what comes off the rack is nothing but pure bliss.  My smoker of choice is currently the Big Drum Smoker and with it I hope to create some fine summer eats, have fun along the way, but most of all, take pics of it all so that I can learn what works and what doesn’t.  Such as don’t use your BDS on a wooden deck.
